As China continues to advance green and low-carbon transformation in the port sector, zero-emission and cost-efficient electric equipment is becoming an increasingly important choice for port modernization. Recently, SDLG secured a total of 20 L972HEV electric wheel loaders from two major port enterprises in South China and Fujian, further expanding the application of new-energy equipment in port operations.

On August 1, 10 L972HEV electric wheel loaders were successfully delivered to a leading port logistics enterprise in South China. Following months of close cooperation between SDLG, its local dealer and the customer, the machines were customized and precisely tested for demanding port conditions. Despite the summer holiday period, SDLG coordinated R&D, production, sales and delivery teams to complete the order ahead of schedule.

Meanwhile, a major port enterprise from Fujian recently visited SDLG to evaluate its new-energy machinery solutions. After an on-site demonstration of the L972HEV, the customer recognized its strong power output, operating endurance, low-noise performance and zero-emission advantages, and confirmed an order for another 10 units.

Designed for heavy-duty port applications, the L972HEV is equipped with a 525 kWh battery, offering more than four hours of heavy-load operation and approximately 6–8 hours under light-load conditions. Its fast-charging system can reach 80% capacity in around 1.2 hours. The electric wheel loader also helps reduce maintenance requirements and energy costs compared with conventional diesel-powered equipment.
