Recently, at the construction site of Gaoligong Tunnel of Dare Railway in Baoshan, Yunnan Province, SHANTUI Jianyou E3H-040 containerised concrete mixing plant has successfully completed the installation and commissioning, marking the upgrading of the concrete guarantee system of this ‘super project’. As the latest masterpiece after E5R-180, the first underground mixing plant for railway tunnels in China, this equipment will realise double-site co-operation in the well, cracking the construction problems under the complex geological environment of the Hengduan Mountain Range.

To meet the challenges of limited transport space and high installation difficulty in tunnels, E3H-040 adopts modular container design, which reduces the floor space by 40% compared with the traditional equipment, and supports rapid transit and flexible deployment. Its innovative double-rope lifting system with backwinding time protection technology improves operational safety while powder metering accuracy reaches 1.5 times of the industry standard. Together with the ‘King of Engineering’ series of mixing hosts, the machine can stably output high-strength, high homogeneous concrete to fully meet the needs of tunnel lining and other special processes.

‘This equipment realises the ‘zero distance’ supply of concrete and improves the vertical transport efficiency by more than 60%.’ The technical person in charge of the project introduced. As a key controlling project of the Baorui section of the Dali Railway, the Gaoligong Mountain Tunnel is about 34.5 kilometres long, and is the first railway tunnel in China to cross the Hengduan Mountains. After completion, it will shorten the journey from Dali to Ruili to less than 2 hours, which is of great strategic significance to improve the international railway corridor between China and Myanmar and promote the economic development of the southwest border.
