Recently, LIUGONG Machinery Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as LIUGONG) received the overseas mission notice from the Ministry of Natural Resources, PRC, and officially invited 7 employees of LIUGONG to participate in China's 41st Antarctic scientific expedition. This is an important milestone in the cooperation between LIUGONG and the Polar Research Center of China (Polar Center), and the number of employees dispatched this time is the largest since the cooperation between the two sides. Together with the two LIUGONG team members who are currently carrying out winter missions in Antarctica, there will be nine LIUGONG personnel working at the Great Wall Station, Zhongshan Station and Qinling Station at the same time.
The seven LIUGONG team members selected this time will be mainly responsible for the logistics support business related to construction machinery, and undertake the special engineering equipment maintenance and welding tasks of Zhongshan Station. It is worth mentioning that this is the first time that the Polar Center takes the initiative to seek the support of LIUGONG welding skills, which reflects LIUGONG's leading position in the field of welding technology and the important role of polar scientific research.
Since LIUGONG first participated in the polar research in 2008, it has been working with China's polar research cause for 16 years. From the beginning, only one person ventured to the Antarctic, to now dozens of people participated in the field logistics support of the Arctic and Antarctic, LIUGONG's influence in polar scientific research is constantly expanding. From serving foreign brands of construction machinery to LIUGONG's many sets of construction machinery and equipment shining on the Antarctic continent, LIUGONG has become an important force in the field of Antarctic construction machinery. At present, 80% of the construction machinery working in Antarctica is LIUGONG equipment.
LIUGONG has always been oriented to meet the diversified needs of polar scientific research, has a deep insight into customer needs under extreme working conditions, and has developed a series of powerful equipment adapted to the polar environment for the pain points of the field extreme cold scene. These devices not only have excellent performance, but also can operate stably under extremely harsh conditions, which provides strong support for scientific researchers.
In addition, LIUGONG also provides a full range of products, services and solutions for polar scientific research with full life cycle and full value chain. From equipment selection, installation and commissioning to maintenance, LIUGONG has provided a full range of technical support and guarantee to ensure the steady development of China's polar scientific research.
China's 41st Antarctic expedition is a new stage of cooperation between LIUGONG and the Polar Center, and also a vivid reflection of LIUGONG's continuous innovation and commitment to social responsibility. LIUGONG will continue to help China's polar scientific research cause make new breakthroughs and progress with more advanced equipment and better service. In the future, LIUGONG will continue to deepen the field of polar scientific research and contribute more wisdom and strength to China's polar scientific research cause.
