SANY has successfully delivered its first hybrid mining water truck, the SET150S, to global iron ore leader Vale, marking a new milestone in their long-term partnership and SANY’s sustainable mining solutions in Brazil.

Since the collaboration began in 2021, SANY has supplied Vale with more than 30 units of mining equipment, including excavators and mining trucks. The newly deployed SET150S is the first ultra-large hybrid mining water truck in the Brazilian market, featuring a 30,000-gallon (approximately 114 m³) water tank designed for high-intensity dust suppression and cooling operations in large-scale South American mines.

Powered by SANY’s self-developed dual-engine hybrid system, the SET150S reduces fuel consumption by over 20% and cuts annual carbon emissions by approximately 30 tons, significantly improving operational efficiency and environmental performance.

Supporting this achievement is SANY Brazil’s strong localized service network, with over 200 service engineers providing 24/7 technical support across major mining regions.
